Values

"I have always valued working with people. I unashamedly believe that when people are supported to think creatively and strategically, alongside the people they are working with, then productivity increases and everyone gains. Someone I value enormously once said to me. 'Emma, if you want to get on, then have the best people around you'; wise advice and guidance that encourages us to embrace brilliance and difference in others rather than be anxious about it. It also encourages us to seek the potential we have within us. We all have great capacity to achieve, but limiting beliefs, backstory's, organisational culture, lack of confidence and relationships can get in the way. Gold-standard professional support can liberate people to be more authentic, astute, happier and productive and this is what I aim to offer through integrated leadership coaching, mediation, mentoring and supervision.

I value honesty, transparency, integrity, challenge, strategic thinking, empathy and professional kindness and seek to embody these through thoughtful, ethical practice with my clients".

Work

"I have worked in a wide range of leadership positions over 25 years. I have been an executive leader in a large organisation, a principal of a federated college, a director of postgraduate studies, a teacher and university lecturer as well as holding roles that deal with significant life change for others. This means I know my subject areas very well and I also understand the dynamics of professional executive work. I have shifted culture in a number of contexts and hold qualifications in organisational change, research ethics, inclusion and diversity as well as coaching and mediation. I have innovated social impact work, worked with a broad range of stakeholders and driven best practice in safeguarding, people and culture nationally. I have worked in the UK and abroad, training employees in different contexts and developing models of group coaching as well as personal coaching to bring about lasting change".
